B2C Case Study
Digital Banking & Fintech App Users in the UAE and Saudi Arabia via CAWI

Project Overview :
A dual-market CAWI study with UAE and Saudi Arabia residents aged 21–45 who actively use digital banking or fintech apps, measuring satisfaction, switching drivers, and openness to next-generation financial services.
Challenge :
The Gulf market demanded culturally precise screening (nationality mix, expatriate segments, Arabic/English bilingual surveys) alongside strict quality control in a region with elevated fraud traffic. The client required 250 completes balanced across the two markets within 9 days.
Solution :
Our regional experience drove the approach:
- Bilingual Programming : Parallel Arabic and English questionnaires with verified cultural equivalence of scales.
- Segment Quotas : Balanced sampling across nationals and expatriate populations per client specification.
- Regional Fraud Controls : Geolocation, device fingerprinting, and behavioral screening tuned for Gulf sample sources.
- Cultural Sensitivity Review : Question framing reviewed for local norms to maximize engagement and candor.
Project Results :
Target: UAE & Saudi Arabia residents, 21–45, active digital banking/fintech users.
N Size: 250 completed interviews (125 per market).
Incidence Rate (IR): 28%.
Length of Interview (LOI): 15 minutes.
Field Time: 9 days.
Delivered balanced bilingual sample on schedule. Findings on switching triggers, trust drivers, and Islamic-finance feature demand shaped the client's regional product roadmap.
