B2C Case Study: Reaching Niche Audiences in Malta & Greece

The brief

N=300 quantitative study, 30% IR, 15-minute LOI, all devices — with quotas most suppliers would decline.

The quotas

  • Malta: 15–20 males 16–24, 25–30 males 25–34.
    Greece: 50 females 65+.

Method

Online (CAWI) via established panels in both markets.

Why these groups are difficult

Young Maltese men are a small universe with patchy survey engagement. Greek women 65+ face the usual online barriers — access, digital confidence, willingness. Both need tailored invites and screening that doesn't screen out the willing along with the unqualified.

How we got there

  • Invites written for the age group, not one template for everyone.
  • Screening that verifies without interrogating.
  • Survey pacing held to the promised 15 minutes — overruns kill completion with these audiences.

Outcome

All quotas met to spec. Small-market niche work is feasible with the right panels and realistic pacing — it just isn't push-button.
